Antipasto Christmas Wreath

Sharing is caring!

This Antipasto Christmas Wreath is the cutest holiday appetizer! It's ready in just a few minutes and is a lot of fun to make.

It's a show-stopping, beautiful dish to serve for a Christmas party or dinner.

It's also easy to pull together and white it may take a little bit to make every skewer, it's not a difficult process!

Why You Should Make this Antipasto Wreath

Beyond the fact that this is a beautiful and festive appetizer recipe, this antipasto wreath is so easy to make.

It's literally as simple as assembling your skewers with a mixture of olives, tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and salami.

Then you get to lay the skewers on a plate and garnish with rosemary for a very festive-looking dish.

It's so fun to serve this to people (everyone will ooh and ahh!) and it can easily be prepared in advance.

What is Antipasto?

Antipasto is the first course of an Italian meal (it means "before the meal") and typically refers to a small plate of meat, cheese, pickled vegetables, and olives.

Instead of serving our antipasto on a plate, we've added them to skewers for this recipe.

Tips for this Making this Recipe

Specialty Ingredients - I used Ciliegine mozzarella balls for this recipe, but you can use another size or cut a large mozzarella ball down into smaller pieces.

Recommended Tools - You'll need some small skewers or toothpicks to make this recipe. I used these skewers that you can buy online.

Storing Tips - You can store this antipasto wreath in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. If it sits out at room temperature for more than 4 hours you should discard any leftovers.

Diet/Allergy Alternatives - If you'd like to make this a vegetarian dish, substitute out the meat for other ingredients like artichoke hearts, peperoncino peppers, or roasted red bell peppers.

Amazing concept and delicious! I made this Christmas Antipasto Wreath for a small party of 6 close friends and it was the hit of the party. Everyone loved how pretty it looked, and several commented on how the rosemary enhanced the flavor of the meat on the skewers. Fantastic concept! Thank you for posting it.

Hi! Just wondering if the dressing should be added just before serving or if the wreath can be stored with the dressing already on it. Thanks!

If you're making several hours or a day in advance, I'd store the dressing separately. Hope this helps!

Hi, this wreath is beautiful and very appetizing! You mentioned using artichoke hearts and I would like to use on a few skewers instead of salami. What exactly would i look for at the store so I get the right “artichoke” to add to this dish?. Can I use artichokes in a jar or would u use a fresh artichoke (and boil to softness or whatever?) thanks!

Love that you're going to try this! I would absolutely buy artichoke hearts in a can. They taste great and will make this recipe easy to pull together.
