A Healthy Freakshake

I've got a delicious treat for you -- a HEALTHY freakshake. Freakshakes are seriously intense milkshakes that often pile layers of desserts on top of a milkshake. I'm switching it up and bringing you a creamy smoothie and loads of fruit.

This recipe can be made with a variety of fruit and you can get very fun with the skewers. If I'd had them, I would have added a few silly straws or perhaps a mini umbrella or two. The idea is to really pile the extras on with abandon!

So, back to this healthy freakshake - it's easy peasey to make and very delicious. I hope you enjoy it and get creative with the toppings.

A Healthy Freakshake
This healthy freakshake is a delicious treat!
Ingredients
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup bluberries
  • 1 cup pitted dark red cherries
  • 1 cup ice
  • Toppings: blueberries, peaches, cherries, mint
Instructions
1. Combine all the smoothie ingredients in a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until fully combined. 2. Place the toppings -  blueberries, peaches, and cherries - on skewers. 3. Add the skewers and mint to the smoothie and serve immediately.

Note: I used frozen fruit in the blended ingredients.
