Peach & Raspberry Sangria

I found the best peaches at the grocery store this week and I was so excited! I've been waiting so long for reasonable peaches to show up. To celebrate, I made this peach and raspberry sangria and it. is. delicious.

I scavenged some orange bougainvillea flowers from my balcony garden for these photos. They're so pretty right now. For some reason the orange ones haven't been blooming much this year - it's just been the pink ones - and out of nowhere my balcony is awash in orange. 

I've also got a bit of a succulent situation going on. I need to cut the little succulent growths off the main plants and repot them - hopefully I'll end up with lots of new plants, but I've heard the survival rate is only about 50%. I've had major success repotting aloe. It's clear that aloe and jade, no matter how little water or attention they receive, cannot be killed.

Peach & Raspberry Sangria

This peach and raspberry sangria is a deliciously-refreshing summer drink!

ingredients:

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) Sauvignon Blanc
  • 3 peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 can (355 ml) soda water

How to cook Peach & Raspberry Sangria

  1. Combine the wine, peaches, and raspberries in a pitcher. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
  2. Add soda water to wine mixture and stir. Serve immediately.
