Cottage Cheese Cookie Dough

This viral cottage cheese cookie dough is so good! It's a protein-packed healthier dessert that's easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup almond flour (or oat flour)
  • cup vanilla protein powder
  • cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Blend cottage cheese, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a food processor or blender till smooth.

  • Place blended cottage cheese in a large mixing bowl. Stir in the almond flour and protein powder till combined.

  • Then, stir in the chocolate chips.

  • Serve immediately or chill in the fridge for 20 minutes before eating.

Serving Tips - Chill the dough for 30 minutes to an hour before serving to give it that perfect cookie dough texture! When it's chilled, you can scoop it out and eat it by the spoonful, add it to your favorite yogurt, add it to ice cream, or even mix it into a vanilla shake. 
Diet/Allergy Alternatives - If you are nut-free, you can swap the almond flour for oat flour.
Storage - Save leftovers for up to 4 days in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
Freeze - Freeze dough in small balls or an ice cube tray for up to 3 months. Just let it thaw a bit in the refrigerator before eating.
