Almond Flour Banana Bread

This tasty almond flour banana bread is gluten-free, refined sugar free, and easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe bananas
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 
  • Line a bread pan with parchment paper or grease it with butter.
  • In a large bowl, mash the bananas until they are a paste. Stir in the eggs until they are fully combined. Then add the vanilla extract and honey. Stir till fully combined. 
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the almond flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Stir to combine. 
  • Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir just until combined. 
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Place the bread pan in the oven and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out of the center of the bread clean.
  • Allow bread to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Storage - save for up to 4 days  in an airtight container at room temperature or for up to a week in the refrigerator.
Freeze - for up to 6 months in a freezer-safe container or wrapped in plastic wrap.
Checking for Doneness - insert a toothpick or small wooden skewer in the center of the bread and if it comes back clean, the bread is cooked through.
