Medjool Dates
¾
cup
dark chocolate chips
3
tablespoons
peanut butter
1
tablespoon
crushed freeze-dried raspberries
optional - chopped nuts or flaky sea salt
Instructions
Slice the dates and remove the pits. Tear the dates in half so you have two equal pieces. Press them together to form a heart.
Spread a little peanut butter onto the sticky side of the dates. Place the dates on a cutting board or baking sheet and freeze for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second increments till melted. Stir to make sure there are no lumps.
Dip the dates into the chocolate and use a fork to remove them - shake them gently to remove excess chocolate.
Place the dates on a piece of parchment paper and sprinkle the freeze-dried raspberries or other toppings on them.
Allow to cool and harden for 10 minutes. Keep in the refrigerator till serving.
