Crispy Parmesan Roasted Broccoli

This fantastic roasted broccoli with parmesan is an easy-to-make side dish that will be your new favorite way to enjoy crispy broccoli!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. 
  • Place the broccoli on an aluminum foil or parchment lined baking sheet. Toss with the olive oil. Combine the sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle over the broccoli and toss to coat each floret. 
  • Spread the broccoli out in a single layer across the baking sheet. 
  • Bake for 12 minutes. Remove the broccoli from the oven and flip each piece over. Bake for an additional 15 minutes. 
  • Remove the broccoli from the oven and immediately sprinkle with the cheese and lemon juice. Toss the broccoli so the cheese is evenly distributed and serve immediately.

Notes

Storage - roasted broccoli is best enjoyed immediately after you make it, but leftovers can be saved for up to 4 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
If possible, reheat in the oven or toaster oven to keep them crispy.
