Combine all the spices in a small bowl and stir till combined.
To use the seasoning blend, heat a tablespoon of olive oil or other oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Once the oil is hot, press the one pound of ground beef into the skillet in a single layer.
Let the ground beef sauté for several minutes till browned and a crust has formed. Flip the ground beef over and allow to cook for 2 to 4 more minutes until it has browned on the other side.
Break the ground beef up into small pieces using a rubber spatula or wooden spoon.
Create a well in the center of the beef and add the spice blend. Stir the spices for 20 seconds to heat them up and bring out all their flavor.
Then stir the spices into the meat and continue cooking ground beef till it has cooked through.
