Kimchi Avocado Toast

This easy kimchi avocado toast is a perfect appetizer or afternoon snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 demi-baguette or half a baguette sliced (9 to 10 slices)
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • ½ cup cabbage kimchi
  • 10 cherry tomatoes thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds black or white or both

Instructions

  • Toast the baguette slices in a toaster oven or in a regular oven till they are warm and golden brown.
  • Combine the avocado and lime juice in a small bowl. Using a fork, mash the avocado until it's a spreadable consistency.
  • Spread a layer of avocado mash across the slices of baguette. Top with a piece or two of kimchi.
  • Add a few slices of cherry tomato or green onion to the top of each crostini. Then top with a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
  • Serve immediately.
