These Dubai chocolate dates are the best sweet treats! You'll love the combination of crunchy, nutty filling, sweet dates, and creamy milk chocolate. They're surprisingly easy to make and will be a hit with your family and friends.
I've been absolutely loving the Dubai chocolate craze! I make Dubai chocolate strawberries almost every weekend, and I've taken the date bark to several parties. It's a fabulous flavor combination that I think you'll love.

Dubai Chocolate Dates Highlights
- These tasty treats are so worth making! Dubai chocolate has been a social media craze, but it actually is worth the hype, especially if you like pistachio.
- The dates make a wonderful dessert or afternoon snack served with tea or coffee.
Ingredients
- Medjool Dates - I highly recommend using Medjool dates for this recipe. They're larger and softer than most other date varieties, making them easier to cut and pit. They have a wonderful, sweet flavor! Although they can be expensive, I think they're worth it.
- Chocolate - you can use milk or dark chocolate chips for this recipe (I went with milk chocolate because I wanted the classic Dubai chocolate combo).
- Kataifi - (may also be sold as kadaifi) This shredded fillo dough looks like very thin noodles. It's usually sold frozen and will need to be thawed in the refrigerator for 24 hours before using. I found this at my regular grocery store chain, but you may need to purchase it online or in a Middle Eastern grocery store.
- Butter - used to toast the kataifi. You can also use ghee if you'd prefer a nuttier flavor.
- Pastes/Butters - you'll use tahini (sesame paste) and pistachio butter to flavor the kataifi filling.
- Optional - you can top the dates with some finely chopped pistachios.
See the recipe card for quantities.
