Leftover turkey will keep in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days. If you would like to keep it longer than that, freeze it.
Can I freeze leftover turkey?
If you are keeping leftover turkey longer than a few days, you should freeze it in a freezer-safe container or zip-top plastic bag. You can save leftover turkey in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Can leftover turkey be safely reheated?
Reheated turkey can sometimes lose its moisture. The best way to reheat leftover turkey (while keeping it moist) is to wrap it in aluminum foil and place it in a 275-degree oven.
Warming time will vary depending on how many pieces you’ve added, but check it after 20 minutes. Reheated turkey should be at a temperature of 130 degrees on an instant-read thermometer.
It’s not safe to reheat meat multiple times, so only reheat only the amount of turkey you will be consuming.
