Tips for Making this Recipe

  • Try to chop the ingredients to a similar size. This will allow you to get a taste of everything in each bite.
  • Try adding other ingredients to this recipe that interest you - shredded chicken, tuna, green apples, dried fruit, toasted pistachios.
  • Traditional Waldorf salad is made with mayonnaise. We like it better with Greek yogurt, but if you love mayo sub out half the yogurt for mayonnaise.
  • Personally, I think the best apples for a Waldorf salad are Honeycrisp because they have a wonderful crunch. Fuji is also a nice option.
