Roasted Beets Recipe
It's easy to make roasted beets - it takes very little hands-on time and they taste great!
Ingredients
- 3 medium red beets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Rinse and scrub away any grit from the beets. Peel them and then chop them into ½ inch pieces.
- Toss the beets with oil, salt, and pepper and spread out on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Halfway through baking, toss the beets once to make sure they get cooked on both sides.
- Remove beets from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
