The Best Healthy Road Trip Snacks

Sharing is caring!

Do you like road trips? Do you like snacks? Great!

Here are some of my favorite and also the best healthy road trip snacks. It's hard to take fresh food on road trips, but below are some of my best recommendations for what travels well in the car.

Egg, grapes, apple, peanut butter, and crackers in a glass container.
Cheese and cracker protein box.

Tips for the Healthy Road Trip Snacks

You can scale these up and down as necessary. Two boxes are enough for short road trips.

These snacks need to be stored in a cooler. They don't have to be freezing cold, but they're better if they're a little chilled.

Other Healthy Snack Ideas

Veggies & Fruit - snap peas, cherries, blueberries, dried apricots, baby carrots, mandarine oranges, apples

Protein - almonds, string cheese, energy bars, nut butter, hard-boiled eggs, roasted chickpeas, and ramen snack mix.

Sweet Treats - graham crackers, chocolate covered raisins, whole grain cookies, dark chocolate
