Creamy Lemonade

Sharing is caring!

This creamy lemonade recipe is so delicious! It's a refreshing and sweet drink that's made with sweetened condensed milk (hence being called creamy).

This tasty drink tastes similar to lemon meringue pie. The creaminess added from the condensed milk gives it a fluffier texture that's reminiscent of many lemon desserts!

Why You've Got to Try this Recipe

I know the words "creamy lemonade" might not inspire a lot of faith in this recipe! It sounds like an odd combination - I was personally hesitant at first too, but I highly recommend trying it.

Creamy lemonade has gotten popular on TikTok with recipe creators making all sort of combinations like boozy creamy lemonade and creamy lemonade with strawberries. It's a take on the Brazilian lemonade (Swiss lemonade or limonada suíça) that's made by blending limes or lemons with condensed milk.

It makes for a richer, tastier beverage that's fun to make. This recipe makes a pitcher full, so you can save it in the refrigerator and drink it all week or serve it at a party.

Ingredients for Creamy Lemonade

Lemons - You'll need anywhere from 5 to 8 lemons to get 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Try to find lemons that feel heavy for their size, it will mean they have more juice! You'll also want one extra lemon for garnish in the pitcher or glasses.

Sweeteners - You'll use 1/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk (milk that's had the water removed) and 1/4 cup granulated sugar.

Ice & Water - You'll need 4 cups of ice and 5 cups of water.

Five lemons, a bowl of ice, a bowl of sugar, a measuring cup of sweetened condensed milk, and a measuring cup of water.

Tips for Making this Recipe

Preparation Tips - If you want an even tarter lemonade, zest several of the lemons and add it to the mixture!

Storing Tips - You can save this recipe in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. If you'd like to make it in advance, add the ice to it before serving so it doesn't get watered down.

Diet/Allergy Alternatives - If you are lactose intolerant or vegan, you can use coconut cream instead of sweetened condensed milk.
