Tips for Making this Recipe

Servings Tips - serve this board with a bunch of toothpicks or tongs, so your guests feel comfortable picking things off the tray.

Recommended Tools - You'll need a large rectangular wooden board or platter. Mine measures 20 by 14 inches.

You can save this fruit tray in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. I recommend covering with a layer of plastic wrap or aluminum foil.

Substitutions & Variations

  • White Stripes - you can sub out one or two of the pretzel stripes with mini marshmallows, slices of banana, white cheddar cheese, cauliflower, or popcorn.
  • Red Stripes - you can swap the raspberries or strawberries for pitted red cherries, slices of bell pepper, sliced watermelon, pomegranate seeds, or red grapes.
  • Blue Section - unfortunately, there aren't too many blue fruits, but you could swap the berries for concord grapes, black currants, or blue plums.
  • Stars - if you want to get really extra, you could cut out stars out of slices of white cheddar cheese with a small cookie cutter and place them on top of the blueberries.
