Tips for Making Ramen

  • You can use any instant ramen you'd like for this recipe, but it works best with ramen that has a separate spice package (not cup of noodles).
  • You can make your own homemade ramen seasoning blend if you'd like to use fresh or dried noodles and you don't have a spice packet!

This was easy peasy and surprisingly delicious! There is something almost magical about the egg, kewpie mayo, garlic, ramen seasoning combination. It was creamy, flavorful comfort food. The topping of chopped green onion and sesame seeds were delicious - I wouldn't skip them. Next time I want to try it with the spicy packet version.

I used this recipe and added a little bit of sriracha for an extra bite. It turned out so good! Would 100% make it again!

Its up to your personal preference but I like to temper the egg/mayo/seasoning mix with some of the boiling water used to cook the ramen. It makes it smoother and keeps the egg from becoming stringy :)
