Why You'll Love This Valentine's Day Charcuterie Board

This appetizer platter is so easy to make! It's made with easy-to-find ingredients and you can pull it together so quickly.

You'll use some colorful fruit and veggies like raspberries, strawberries, grapes, and pink radish to add some splashes of pink and red. You'll use cookie cutters to make your slices of cheese and salami into hearts. And finally, you'll use beet hummus and tzatziki to add some pink and white to the board.

You can make this board ahead of time and keep it in the fridge for a few hours or a day before serving.

Tips for Making this Recipe

Specialty Ingredients - I used a pink daikon radish because I wanted a bright splash of hot pink on this board. These radishes can be difficult to find (you will likely have more chance of finding them at a specialty produce grocery store, farmer's market, or Asian grocery store). You can use regular, small red radishes just as easily though!

Recommended Tools - You'll need two sizes of heart-shaped cookie cutters for this recipe. I used a 3-inch cookie cutter for the cheese and a 1.5-inch cookie cutter for the salami.

Storing Tips - You can make this recipe a day ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator. The cheese, meat, and dips shouldn't sit outside of the refrigerator for longer than 4 hours.
