It’s perfect post-holiday season or any other time you need a pick-me-up salad.


Ingredients You’ll Need for a Detox Salad

This recipe calls for loads of fruit and veggies – if you don’t care for some of them or don’t have them on hand, swap them for something else! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 3 cups seedless grapes, halved
  • 3 apples, diced (I used Honeycrisp)
  • 2 cups roughly chopped greens (I used baby romaine)
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 small carrots, sliced into rounds
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup dried currants (or raisins)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • pinch of salt & pepper

How to Make this Salad

  1. Combine all the ingredients from grapes to currants in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk the olive oil, lemon juice, salt & pepper together in a small bowl.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.

  1. cAN I mix the dressing ahead of time? I just finished making it (11am) and plan to serve it around 6pm.
