This healthy smoothie recipe is super easy to make. The only important thing to note is you need to blend it fully to incorporate the oats. If you do a quick blitz, you'll have oat chunks that are not very appetizing!
I used a Vitamix blender for this recipe - which I highly recommend if you like smoothies. It's one of the best blenders on the market. Blendtec and Breville are also known for their high-quality blenders. These blenders are not cheap and I considered whether or not it was actually worth buying one.
What I ended up doing was buying one on Amazon that was refurbished and it was a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than the new ones. It's been amazing. I use it for soups, smoothies, cocktails, and popsicles. It's phenomenal. If you have ever wondered whether a high-end blender is worth the price, let me tell you - yes, they are awesome.
