Ricotta Toast Ingredients
- Bread - use your favorite bread. I recommend a crusty on the outside and soft on the inside bread like sourdough.
- Part-Skim Ricotta - creamy and lightly sweet, ricotta is easy to spread and pairs perfectly with fresh fruit.
- Fresh Berries - use your favorite berries or whatever is in season to top the toast - I personally love blueberries and blackberries, but I've made this with raspberries, sliced peaches, and pear before!
- Honey - a drizzle of honey adds another punch of sweet without being too much.
- Flaky Sea Salt (optional) - I love to balance the flavors of the toast with a little pinch of salt. It's optional, so you don't need to add it if you don't enjoy salty and sweet together.

How to Make Toast with Ricotta
- Toast the bread.
- Spread half the ricotta on each piece of toast. Followed by ½ cup of berries per piece.
- Drizzle 1 teaspoon of honey on each piece of toast and finish with sea salt.
