Savory + Sweet Toast Ingredients
If you're making both toast recipes, you'll need:
- 4 pieces whole wheat bread
- 1 cup part-skim ricotta
- 1 cup blueberries
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 16 cherry tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- salt & pepper
How to Make This Toast Recipe
For the savory toast:
- Toast the bread.
- Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. When hot, place the tomatoes in the pan and let cook till they burst (6 to 8 minutes).
- Spread ¼ cup ricotta cheese on each piece of toast. Followed by the avocado slices on the toasts.
- When tomatoes are cooked, add them as well.
- Drizzle 1 teaspoon of olive oil on each toast, followed by a pinch of salt and pepper.
For the sweet toast:
- Toast the bread.
- Spread ¼ cup ricotta on each piece of toast. Followed by ½ cup of blueberries per piece.
- Drizzle 1 teaspoon of honey on each piece of toast.
